Music Director/Conductor:Tiansheng Guo
Tiansheng Guo, board member of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association, board member of the Chinese Musicians Association and a national first-class conductor in China. He serves as an executive director of the China National Orchestra Society and the Conducting Professional Committee, a guest professor at the Affiliated High School of the China Conservatory of Music, an examiner for the China Conservatory of Music's social art grading system, and a guest conductor of the "Dazhong Youth Chinese Orchestra" in Taichung, Taiwan. He previously served as the chief conductor of the Hebei Provincial Song and Dance Theater National Orchestra for an extended period. Since 2012, he has been the music director and conductor of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association in the United States.

President, Erhu Performing Artist:Zhantao Lin
Zhantao Lin, board member of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association and one of the founder, a former associate professor at Guangxi Arts Institute, and an honorary council member of the Huqin Professional Committee of the China National Orchestra Society. Since moving to the United States in 1999, he has frequently participated in performances throughout New England. He was invited to perform at the Silk Road concert hosted by Yo-Yo Ma and to give lectures and performances at the Santiago String Association in Spain. Since 2012, he has primarily organized major concerts in Boston, including the "Dream of the Red Chamber Suite," "Liu Sanjie Suite," and "Ashima Suite." In 2018, he was invited to play the lead role in the short film "Chengxian" and provided Erhu music recordings for the film. This film won several awards, including Best Short Film at the Los Angeles Asian Film Festival and the Palm Beach International Film Arts Award. In 2019, he was awarded the title of Blodgett Visiting Artist by the Department of Music at Harvard University.

Director of Orchestra , Instrument Musician: Zhengshan Zhang
Zhengshan Zhang, board member of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association and one of the founder. With over a decade of experience in professional art troupes and theaters, he is a full-time professional musician. He won the Excellence Award in a professional instrumental competition hosted by Guangdong TV. With decades dedicated to music, he studied under Professor Huang Jincheng at Xinghai Conservatory of Music, specializing in xiao and dizi, and also received training in instrumental arrangement from composers such as Xie Pan and Tang Kaixuan. He possesses comprehensive musical skills and is proficient in various Chinese wind instruments, and string instruments. After moving to the U.S., he founded the Silk and Bamboo Music School and a Chinese chamber orchestra, contributing to the promotion of Chinese culture and the cultivation of artistic talent. He was invited to perform at a 16-nation wind instrument concert hosted by the Boston Center for the Arts, receiving high praise. In 2013 and 2014, his students won first prizes in the Chinese and Western Instrumental Competition hosted by the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Princeton International Instrumental Competition, earning him the "Best Teacher" award. Since the founding of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association, he has played a key artistic role in repertoire selection, adaptation, orchestration, directing, training, and organizing rehearsals. He has also served as the chief music planner for major concerts, including Resplendent National Style, The Dream of the Red Chamber Suite, The Third Sister Liu Suite, and Ashima Suite.

Youth Orchestra Leader, Yangqin Performer:Shaojian Huang
Shaojian Huang, board member of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association and one of the founder of BCMA, professional Yangqin (Chinese dulcimer) musician, and the head of the Percussion Section in the BCMA Orchestra. She graduated from Xinghai Conservatory of Music School in Guangzhou, specializing in Yangqin. After moving to the U.S., she co-founded the Boston Sizhu Music School and the Boston Chinese Chamber Orchestra. . For years, she has been actively involved in performances and has dedicated herself to training students in Yangqin and percussion. Her students have won first-place awards in various competitions and have gone on to perform as soloists and principal Yangqin players in the Music Association Orchestra. Currently, she also serves as the Deputy Leader of the Youth Orchestra within the BCMA.

Vice President, Host:Xiaomei Wang
Xiaomei Wang, board member of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association. Former national first-class host in China, former director and editor of CCTV's Economic program, and featured in The Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Broadcasters and Hosts. Now residing in Boston, USA, she is dedicated to planning, scripting, and hosting community public performances and concerts. She serves as the Secretary-General of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association (BCMA), having hosted various large-scale BCMA concerts and played lead roles in theatrical performances. Additionally, she has been recognized as an outstanding host for Seattle Chinese Radio and has been invited multiple times as a judge for the Global Chinese Recitation Competition.

女高音:曾燕琴
Yanqin Zheng, board member of the Boston Chinese Musicians Association. She graduated from Guangxi Arts Institute, majoring in vocal music. She is also a member of the Guangxi Musicians Association and a board member of the Guangxi Popular Music Society. Zeng has won numerous prestigious awards, including: First Prize in the Guangxi Division of the 3rd CCTV Youth Grand Prix (Pop Singing Category); First Prize in the Guilin Duxiu Star Singing Competition; Winner's Award in the Southwest China Six Cities Singer Competition; Outstanding Performer Award in the Guangxi "March 3rd" Grand Performance. Some of her recorded songs have been published on cassette tapes and CDs by the Guangxi Audio-Visual Publishing House. She has participated in many major performances across China, receiving high praise for her artistry.

Composer: Zhenzhong Xian
Zhenzhng Xian, National First-Class Composer in China, graduate of Guangxi Arts Institute, majoring in music composition. Together with his brother, Xian Hua, he has composed a vast number of musical works, including instrumental pieces and multiple symphonic compositions. He has also created music for six films*and over 100 television series. Notably, the TV series Red Dragonfly—a co-production of CCTV and Guangxi Film Studio—won the prestigious Golden Eagle Award. Since 2017, the Zhenzhong Xian & Hua Xian Composition Team has been collaborating with the Boston Chinese Musicians Association, creating and arranging works such as the Liu Sanjie Suite and the Ashima Suite, incorporating new musical elements into traditional pieces. For this occasion, Zhenzhong Xian has specially arranged two large-scale compositions for BCMA choir.

花腔女高音:廉艳
Yan Lian, coloratura soprano, she holds a Master’s degree in Opera Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. In 2023, she signed with MassOpera to perform as the Queen of the Night in the English version of Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute and portrayed Ashima in the concert suite Ashima presented by the Boston Chinese Musicians Association. In 2024, she performed as a soprano soloist at Carnegie Hall, participating in a concert featuring composer Andrew J. Safioleas’s works, and also appeared in the Voices of Spring concert at Jordan Hall

Pianist:Lingwei Qiu
Ms. Qiu was born into a family of musicians and has studied piano since childhood. She holds a degree in law and currently works at the Harvard Library, where she is in charge of music acquisitions and cataloging, as well as coordinating the East Asian music collection.

Coloratura Soprano : Zhuge Zeng
Zhuge Zeng,is an exceptional coloratura soprano with sweet voice, unified tone, and strong penetrating power, showcasing her remarkable musical talent. She graduated from Hunan Arts School, majoring in traditional Chinese opera. In 1998, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from McMaster University in Canada, followed by an opera performance certificate from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2000. Zeng was nominated for the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Best Singer in 2001, won the Young Artist Competition Award from the Canadian Choral Association in 2000, and received the Bohr Music Festival Award in 1997. In 1993, she won the grand prize at the North American Chinese Singing Competition. Over the years, she has participated in various opera performances in North America, including Mozart's famous opera "The Magic Flute." Her debut in the opera "Iron Road" at the Toronto Opera was highly praised in magazines such as Opera and Time for her beautiful tone and outstanding acting. In 2013 and 2015, she held two charity solo concerts in Chicago. She has performed multiple times at the Boston Asian International Music Festival and participated in the "Ashima Suite Concert" organized by the Boston Chinese Musicians Association.
