Boston Chinese Musicians Association (BCMA)
The Boston Chinese Musicians Association (abbreviation: "BCMA") is a nonprofit organization formally registered in Massachusetts, USA. BCMA's primary mission is to promote outstanding Chinese music works, showcase instrumental and vocal performance arts with Chinese elements, cultivate more musical talents, and enrich the multicultural atmosphere of the community.
A. BCMA currently has three groups:

Orchestra:
Includes Chinese and Western string, wind, plucked, and percussion instruments. Members are mainly adults, with some highly skilled youth performers. -
Choir:
Includes four major vocal sections: soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Each section is further divided into two sub-sections, making a total of eight vocal parts. All members are adults. -
Youth Orchestra:
Similar in structure to the orchestra but primarily composed of youth members.
B. Application Form:
If you have a certain level of musical expertise and are interested in becoming a member of BCMA, please download and fill out the following form, then send it to the designated email address in the form. We will contact you:

C. Our process:
- Applicants send the registration form to: bostonchinesemusicians@gmail.com, along with an audio or video recording of your singing or instrumental performance.
- BCMA will contact you within one week, either via email or phone.
- Based on your submitted form and recording, if you meet BCMA's requirements, you will be included in the official membership list and invited to participate in activities.
D. Notes:
- There are no restrictions on age, gender, ethnicity, or language for applications.
- It is preferable for applicants to reside in Massachusetts to ensure regular participation in rehearsals and performances.
